Riley Dobson was tragically killed in a helicopter crash in Hawaii this February. His family was also seriously injured and we are raising money to assist in their recovery. On behalf of Riley's fellow horsemen, friends and family, we intend to raise $40,000.

Riley Dobson, just 16 years old, was taken from us too soon. He loved horses and competition and that is how I met Riley. We compete in the provincial Hunter/Jumper Circuit in Ontario. Riley has many of friends through his association with horses. He was loved and respected.

The horse community is large in population, but also a tight knit group. We compete individually, yet we still refer to our sport as a team sport. Riley was a very big part of that community, and we were all affected by his passing because we not only lost a friend but a team member.

I know his family will be thankful to recieve this money to relieve some financial pressure. It is very sad that as the family are grieving for the loss of a loved one; they are still themselves physically recovering from their own serious injuries.

All the money will be going directly to his family.
