Help Kirk fight cancer
Donation protected
Hi there, first and foremost thank you for taking the time to visit this page. Our dad, Kirk Mc Ivor, came on vacation from Trinidad, to spend some time with me, his daughter, in Florida on March 11th.
Late night on March 19th, he had a scary and serious medical episode at my home that landed him the ER via ambulance. Since then, he has spent many days in and out of the ICU and is making it through on a day by day basis. After countless blood tests, scans and endoscopic procedures, he has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma (cancer).
In order to increase his chances of survival, the next step for him is to immediately begin aggressive chemotherapy treatment however, this has become great complication due to the circumstances around the COVID-19 pandemic. Firstly, we have not been able to see him since he was admitted, as the hospitals are shut down to all visitors, which we understand, but more importantly, Trinidad has closed it's boarders to all incoming and outgoing flights preventing us from getting him home to have the support of the rest of our family.
Daddy is currently still in the hospital under constant care while the medical bills are continuing to add up far beyond his medical coverage and he urgently needs to begin Chemo therapy as soon as next week, the beginning of April.
We understand with the economic situation being as it is due to this virus, that seeking financial assistance is a big ask, but we come humbly as a family and please know that anything, big or small is a tremendous blessing to us. All donations are received in U.S. dollars.
Thank you in advance for your support!
