This is jack.

Hello everyone, I come to this site to ask for help, as much as it pains me to do so I have no choice at this moment. Earlier this week, jack was completely healthy and energetic with no medical issues, however a few days ago he has lost complete feeling and movement in his rear legs. It happened so sudden, one day he was his usual self and literally the next he cant walk and struggles to move at all. It happened in the morning and we rushed to the veterinary emergency room. In order to pinpoint the issue we needed to perform a CT scan,  we were told that there is a disc in his spine that has so much pressure that it blocks the nerves that allows him to walk and urinate/release his bowels. In order to fix this issue he has no choice but to undergo surgery or the problem will worsen and become permanent and worst case scenario we will lose him. Jack is currently 11 years old, he still has time until "his time" and we as a family cannot afford to lose him or have him live out the rest of his years immobile. He must undergo the surgery ASAP before his injuries become permanent, we as a family are taking care of him and are doing our very best to make sure he is attended in order to prevent any other accidents. The surgery itself costs 8000 CAD but has a 90% efficiency so the odds are in our favor but is still frightening nonetheless. we need help to save jack, we are not ready to lose him; its not his time. please anything will help, if you cannot donate please help spread this message to anyone at all.
