Thanks for taking the time to read this. My friend Lucille needs help.

In 2016, after a car accident and seeing numerous specialists my friend was diagnosed with severe fibromyalgia.-(It is a permanent disability)and a left hip lining tear. She has also been diagnosed with a rare uterine cancer in 2023. Not to mention severe anxiety and depression that she was just coming out of before the most recent of her fourth car accident this past October(all 4 drivers accepted total responsibility). Add to that in 2024 she suffered a heart attack and had an angiogram and had a stent put in. Her suffering on a daily basis with severe pain, health issues and constant worries of her financial situation are overwhelming and hard on her heart as well.

Since 2016, at age 55, she was forced to give up employment due to her injuries even though she had been working since she was 16. She has been on a small disability since then, even though she had planned on working until she was at least 65 or 68.

She is unable to work due to her extreme fatigue, pain and emotional issues and is overwhelmed. Lucille tries so hard to smile daily. She bakes and helps friends and strangers as often as she can.

In 2019 her best friend and partner died suddenly of a massive stroke. He sadly didn't leave any money whatsoever for the funeral costs or anything else. And her regular monthly bills doubled overnight! Out of her own pocket she paid for his funeral, her airfare, car rental, hotel etc etc.,which was held in Alberta(where he grew up).

In 2022 she had to move from Vernon to Penticton B C. This was another major hit to her emotional, physical and financial well being .. With the U-haul rental, driver, packers, movers, cleaners etc.and months of gas costs searching all over Okanogan for a suitable place to live as well. More severe stress for her.

Her van has over 460,000 kms on it, and even though she has maintained it meticulously, due to its age it now is needing repairs. She needs her vehicle fixed to be able to get to her Cardio Rehab 3x a week and she would like to pay for and do the extended Cardio Maintenance program afterwards as well which also costs money.Lucille has many many medical appointments, therapies locally, as well as those that require her to travel to Summerland (dentist and physio) and Kelowna and Vernon for screening exams every few months as a result of her "rare form" of Uterine Cancer. Her vehicle fixed or a newer car are desperately needed right away.

Life has been so difficult for her. Lucille needs $6 000 to have a reliable vehicle or her van fixed, and dental work completed and to help out with her MONTHLY medical needs NOT covered such as:

1)"Replense(She cannot use Premarin due to her cancer which Is covered) going forward.

2) Sytene Ultra Eye Drops for severe dry eye condition

3) ASA for her heart

4) Omega 3's and other vitamins

5) Super Healthy eating (which does cost more. She does go to food banks as well)

She has been told by her 3 Specialists that these items listed above( and more) are all needed and important, for the "rest of her life".

4)Lucille does not have a GP yet.

Medicare doesn't cover everything. Especially all of the dental work she needs to have done.

She has had countless traumas, road blocks and other things that have affected her profoundly. She is trying hard to stay alive and get as healthy as possible in every way possible.

She prays for a reliable vehicle so she can get to all of her many many appointments, therapies and more.

She is grateful for ANY help. If you can't help please don't judge and do no harm. Just share this please and I am also willing to forward any donations directly to her mechanic, dental office and pharmacy/ store for her monthly needs directly or any gift cards for these items or healthy groceries if you prefer that.
