On October 19th, Kordell “KD” Johnson passed away from severe bleeding caused by gun shot wounds.  This sudden and tragic death has left his family not only mourning but quickly trying to cover the unexpected funeral costs and taking care of KD’s baby girl Kay-Maya. 

For those of you who didn’t know KD, he was one with a smile always on his face. An upbeat young man with a bright future. He was saving up for his CNA courses and license.

He had recently completed a film where a played a young kid who had been affected by gang violence.  He poured many of his life experiences into the film to help others see the dangers of what gangs can bring.

He will be missed by many. Your donations will help cover funeral costs which on average costs $7,200. Also, your donation will help provide food and items for his baby Kaymaya.
