Help keep Corey enrolled in college

Every student deserves access to a college education. With increasing costs of college, many students are denied this access simply because they cannot afford it. 

Our friend Corey has over come obstacles that many people couldn't even imagine. Growing up in an environment that consisted of gangs, violence, drugs, and poverty, he pushed past the adversity and applied and was accepted into multiple accredited universities. After working for many years and establishing a savings account to help him pay for college, he was forced to give most of it to his family in order to pay mortgage so they could continue to live. Because of Corey's generosity, funding for him to stay in college has been tough. 

Corey is currently enrolled as a student as James Madison University and everyone loves him. He is kind, caring, funny, and is an all around great guy. We play basketball, xbox, and we always love hanging out with Corey. 

When he came to us in the dorm and told us that he was short on money for the semester and was unable to stay enrolled at JMU, we were all heartbroken. He has grown to be like a brother to us on the ground floor and we all are trying to keep him here. 

Corey is also the first in his family to attend college and has dreams of being able to make it in the world. 

Everyone in his dorm is going to donate money to help Corey stay here at JMU. Everyone who knows Corey, is part of the JMU community, or has a heart to help a student have his dreams come true can donate, even just a few dollars, to help Corey continue his college dreams.
