Help with Medical Bills

Hello all, my name is Byron Tomlinson and I'm about to do one of the hardest things in my life and ask for help. Those who are closest to me can attend to the fact that I am very independent. I love to give more than I receive. This isn't a matter of pride or fear of what might be said, it's just that I've been on my own since I was 19 in a city that I I didn't grow up in, practically by myself since 1996.I will get to the point of this and stop boring you with my story....lol. So, on Feb, 5. 2024, I contracted pneumonia, I didn't know what it was at the time, but i could barely get out bed for two weeks. Finally, my sister made me go to the urgent care at kaiser permemente. I was was there for like 30 minutes before they rushed me to kennestone hospital in Marietta, GA. I have been here ever since which makes 2 weeks at home, going on 3 weeks in the hospital. Total....5 weeks out of work. Now some may say, well, you have to prepare yourself for rainy days. I have. But once this rain clears with the preparations I have, and no income right now. I will be out. I'm asking for your help so when these medical bills start flowing in , it will make it a little easier on me. My faith has not falterd and I do believe that it was God who wanted me to start this gofundme account. Thank you for your time reading my story, and if you're unable to help please don't feel any negative way. A prayer my way is greater than any dollar you can give. If you can help, I Have never been the type to squander money. I don't live above my means. And I would so greatly appreciate it!

Saturday, 3/16/24 update.

Hello everyone! The battle continues. I'm am still fighting for my health and still in the hospital. I've been transferred to another hospital, Emory St. Joseph, which I'm hoping they will be more successful at bringing me back to myself. Just wanted to update you on the progress of my recovery. I'm keeping God first,and not letting this illness sway my faith

Sunday, 3/31/2024 update.

Hello again everyone! Now, some may have received a text from me saying that I was going to be going home last Sunday. We'll instead of going home, I was sent to ICU because they gave me a medicine that was supposed to help, but instead...ICU. they were able to correct the issue, but, tomorrow I'm being transferred to a rehabilitation center to help me to build my strength back so I'm able to walk. This has truly been a difficult time in my life. But I've also witnessed God perform a miracle every step of the way! I'd like to thank everyone for all your support and prayers and well wishes! I'm still fighting!!!

4/13/2024 UPDATE!

I'm finally at home. After a few setbacks that extended my stay in the hospital, and a few days in a rehabilitation hospital; I'm finally home. It's been about 7 weeks on this journey, but I'm thankful to God for blessing and bringing through it. Also, I'm thankful for all the love and support that I received from family, friends, and others. Thank you all so much! Now I have to work on getting my life back. It's going to take some time, but I'm going to keep going!
