Rhonda and Tuan need our help

Dear Friends, Our Beloved Rhonda K. has been in a terrible car accident. Both of her arms are broken and her right leg as well as damage to her ankle. The accident was caused by another driver running a stop sign and crashing into her. It will be some time before litigation and insurance claims can be sorted out and settled. Who knows if and when any money can come from her case. Rhonda and Tuan need our love and support in this trying time. It is possibile that Rhonda may not be able to walk properly or work again. Tuan has taken off time from his job in Las Vegas to go and be with his wife in Texas where the accident happened. Rhonda will be in the hospital in Texas for an undetermined amount of time. It is uncertain how to even bring her back to Las Vegas at this time. When she returns she will need our help with meals and self care and the care of her beloved pets. She is unable to do anything for herself right now and into the future months, maybe even for the rest of 2019. To help them with the considerable cost of medical and long term care, I am asking as a friend and tribe member for your help. As you may know, both her and Tuan were in a major motorcycle accident years ago causing injuries that Rhonda K still deals with to this day. Her body has already taken so much. The prior accident sent Rhonda through more than 20 surgeries to repair her broken body. This new accident has caused more injury on top of old injury. She is strong and she is dealing, but she needs our help.

Rhonda K. is an irreplaceable jewel of a human being. She runs her own non-profit helping people learn to garden and compost and raise their own food. She is an amazing support to her tribe and community. A pillar of support and strength in the fire circle community and to all who know her. I have personally witnessed Tuan and Rhonda offer all that they have to offer to help anyone in need. They pack bundles for the homeless. They travel far to friends in need. The extend their home, their food, their love to anyone who asks them. They are the embodiment of love and strength for community and family.
