Help donate to give Winston a Second Chance at Life

Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
Chris and I need your help. After losing our beloved Rocko, our hearts were broken. But when we saw Winston at the shelter—skinny, scared, and completely defeated—we knew we had to do something. We couldn’t stand the thought of him being left there, so we reached out to NorCal Bully Breed Rescue and asked them if they could help him. They let us know that if we could foster him, they could pull him into their rescue. What we didn’t realize was just how severe and urgent his medical needs would be. The shelter did not divulge any of this information to the rescue, and the cost to fix everything is far more than they were prepared to take on. We really want to help with fundraising since we asked them to take him on, and we are hoping that you will be willing to help us with this endeavor!

This is our chance to finally show Winston the love he has never known. If you can donate, any amount helps—and if you can’t, sharing this means the world to us.

The estimated cost of Winston’s urgent care is $4,500, and we believe that Winston is worth it!!

Despite everything he’s been through, Winston is the sweetest, most loving boy—all he wants is love. And while we are trying to heal him, he is also healing us.

This is our chance to finally show Winston the love he has never known. If you can donate, any amount helps—and if you can’t, sharing this means the world to us.

His medical needs are listed below:
  • He was so starved before his rescue that he ate a rock, likely out of pure desperation. That rock is still in his stomach, and while it’s not blocking anything yet, it poses a life-threatening risk if not removed soon.
  • He has a tumor and another growth that both need to be surgically removed.
  • His front leg was broken at some point and never treated, leaving him limping and in constant pain.
  • He has a back injury or past trauma that has left his hind legs weak and unstable.
  • His skin is in rough shape—he’s lost most of the fur on his back and is covered in sores, requiring ongoing treatment and medicated baths.
  • He needs to be neutered as part of his recovery.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in Winston. He deserves this chance.

With love,
Chris and Kaylin
