Our dear sweet friend, wife, mother, daughter, and coworker, Melanie Regier (Dueck) , has recently been diagnosed with stage IV (4) colorectal cancer which has spread to her liver. 

Mel is also an incredible Flight Attendant with Westjet. Let's help get her back to the friendly skies! 

I wanted to start this page for 2 reasons. 

1. I would like Mel and her husband Randy to go to the US for testing. They will figure out a treatment plan, and forward it to Canada. I have known many people who have done this, and are now successfully in remission. 
 There is a Cancer Treatment Center of America 10 min from our home in Phoenix. They will stay there. All funds will go directly for testing and treatment. 
I feel that any and all options and opportunities are beneficial. 

2. We all know short term disability doesn't pay very well . 
 Also, Randy will want to be there for her for her treatments. 
 They have 4 amazing children that are in post secondary. 
I don't want Mel and Randy to be stressing about bills, and money during this fight. 
I want all their energy to go into fighting this! 

 Mel has been there for all of us. Be it a kind word, a long hug when needed, a shoulder to cry on, and a safe place to land. 
 She has gone way out of her way to help people at work by picking up/trading. She's saved a bunch of us, numerous times. 

 Now it's our turn to help HER!
