Hello. My name is Lisa and my husband’s name is Bryan. We are the blessed parents of 5 amazing children. Our family experienced a life changing event on 2/24/21. During a large wind storm our neighbor’s tree fell on our home trapping our oldest daughter Rain underneath it. A miracle created a pocket underneath the roof and they were able to walk away with only a concussion and bumps and bruises. We have been in a battle with insurance ever since. We live in California and have been paying our house payment along with rent for the last two years with minimal help from our insurance company. To add even more stress to our situation, my husband lost his job on 3/9/23. We are at a loss on what to do. We don’t want to loose our home after fighting to keep it for two years. We haven’t been able to live in it due to the structural damage from the tree, and half of it being destroyed. We know it is a lot to ask because there are so many amazing people in need, but we don’t know what else to do. We will continue to fight insurance, but are afraid we will loose our home before anything with our claim gets resolved. We are hoping beyond hope that we can get 30,000 incredible humans to donate $5 dollars each. This would enable us to fix our home with the funds and bring our children home after two years.
