Hi, my name is Aleecia, Dylan’s oldest sister. As some of you may know, Dylan has now had his second open heart surgery in just under 3 years. His aortic valve was infected and it spread all through his heart, and into his lungs.

He was born with his heart condition, so we knew open heart surgery was in his future. But at 17, it was definitely unexpected. And at age 20, to undergo a second, more high risk surgery, is definitely not ideal. However, Dylan now has a mechanical valve and the infection is no longer in his heart. Doctors at Stanford are taking care of him and doing everything they can.

We know it’s the holidays, and we continue to ask for prayers and positive thoughts. This money would help Dylan and our parents with unexpected expenses that come their way. Thank you all and happy holidays ❤️
