Support Jerry's Road to Recovery

Those who know Jerry and Sara know that they are the last people to ask for help, and the first to offer it. They have been resistant to me starting up this page, but it's time for us to continue to show them how loved and supported they are!

Last Tuesday December 10th, Jerry experienced a medical emergency and was rushed to Metro Hospital via ambulance. An arterial bleed in his stomach was identified and over the past week Jerry has had to endure many surgeries, blood transfusions, vents, the works. Sunday the 15th Jerry was moved to U of M where he is getting the best care. We are optimistic for recovery but have been advised Jerry has a long road ahead of him. Right now, we are unclear when he will be able to leave the hospital but when he does, he will still need a lot of care and rehab. We all know how quickly medical bills can pile up (especially during the holidays) a little can go a long way. Thank you to everyone for your support and donations!
