Sluetown Strutters Tour Van Repairs

Hey everyone,  we are the Sluetown Strutters from New Orleans, LA!

Thanks to all of our awesome friends and fans, we are all booked up for a West Coast, Rocky Mountain and Alaska tour this upcoming summer. We are going on tour to promote our new album, "Taking It Back", which we released earlier this year.

But, sadly, our van has come to an untimely end during some flooding down here in the south. We need to replace our engine - but with all the money we just put into our new album, and buying the van in the first place, we just don't have the funds to fix it! We've checked around town, and the best price we've found to fix our locked up engine is $3,500. So we are asking you from the bottom of our hearts and wallets to help out and donate anything you can so we can continue bringing our sounds to your towns. 

Our band was born out of the vibrant and chaotic music scene on the streets New Orleans, Louisiana. We are a seven piece and our instrumentation includes the parlor guitar, resonator guitar, banjo mandolin, plectrum banjo, tuba, clarinet, saxophone and washboard. We play songs with a passion to preserve the old, but also to expand and create something new from a vintage sound. We're influenced by the classics of Royal Street, depression era Jazz and Blues, and our own everyday lives.
