Help Send Wes to Dance in LA

Hi! My name is Wesley Henderson. I am 12 years old and I dance at Studio Red on the coast of Maine. I have been dancing for just about my whole life and it's my passion.  Along with my regular dance classes, I am also part of our competition team.  The competition team allows me to pursue my passion while continuously striving to better my technique and artistry.  We compete in regional competitions and participate in conventions and workshops with the judges and masters at these events.  At our most recent competition,  I was awarded a scholarship (one of only 5 awarded to a field of hundreds of dancers) to participate  in the Hollywood Summer Tour in LA  in late July. This is a weeklong workshop for dancers that includes meeting with industry professionals, taking classes at some of LA's premiere dance studios, and having the opportunity to work toward my goal to some day work as a professional dancer.  When they awarded it to me, I couldn't believe it.  It is such an  incredible opportunity, but unfortunately the scholarship only covers a small part of the total cost of the trip and I only have until the beginning of July to achieve my goal.   I love dancing so much and being able to go to LA and dance there would be such an honor not just for myself but to represent my small town, my dance studio, and the great state of Maine.  I appreciate you considering donating to my cause.
