Hi, my name is Tami, and I am KC’s foster mom. KC is a very special puppy who relies on her wheelchair to enjoy a good quality of life through mobility. I’m reaching out to ask for your help because, on October 17, 2025, KC’s wheelchair was stolen.

Due to this unexpected loss, we had to spend $1,000 to replace her wheelchair, which has drained funds that would normally go toward her essential needs — including diapers, pee pads, food, medical supplies, and warm clothing for the winter. As a foster, I’m committed to caring for KC’s well-being, but I rely heavily on donations and community support to meet these ongoing needs.

KC’s Story: From Kuwait Streets to Canadian Sanctuary

Hi, I'm KC! I’m a resilient pup who was first found fighting for survival on the streets of Kuwait. After being tragically hit by an oil truck, I was alone for weeks until the incredible team at "Save a Soul " Animal Rescue Kuwait stepped in to save my life.

I got my second chance! I made the long journey to Canada and am now safe and sound with my wonderful foster mom, Tami Souter, in Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL), Ontario.

My Journey to a Forever Home

My new life started on April 9th, the day I met my foster mommy!

As my foster mom, Tami, shared:

"I'm excited to share that I'll be fostering this beautiful and courageous pup, KC, who has overcome an incredibly difficult start in life. After being tragically run over by an oil tanker in Kuwait, KC was rescued by the amazing Alis, whom I’m grateful to work with. She arrived on April 12th from the Kuwait Dog Rescue."

Now, my mission is simple: find my forever family!

My foster family is working hard to help me heal and adjust. We’re often out in the community for walks and meet-and-greets, and they are even working on my own dedicated Facebook page to make me a local sensation!
