Nearly a year ago this month, a wonderful warrior lost a very short battle with cancer. Sarah was such a light - always laughing, always ready to put the world to rights with me during our Wednesday work chats. She was an incredible mother, wife and friend, taken far too soon from the people who loved her.

With the first anniversary approaching, I wanted to do something meaningful in her memory. I’ll be doing a sponsored hair chop, with around 14 inches being donated to The Little Princess Trust, who create wigs for children with cancer. At the same time, I hope to raise money for Team Verrico, a charity that supported Sarah and her family in their greatest hours of need.

Sarah’s children have kindly chosen a photo of their mum to go alongside this fundraiser.

Rob and I would be truly grateful for any donation, no matter how small, to help support these causes in her honour.
