Dear Family and Friends,

 
My Brother Tom has been very ill for the last several months.  His illness forced him to leave his job and he has not been able to work.

 He has been struggling to make ends meet and to stay in his apartment.  Jimmy and I have tried to help but unfortunately, we can only provide so much financial support.

 He has applied for disability which he will not receive until November.  He has applied with The Salvation Army for help with his rent, but has not heard back.

 If you know my brother, you would understand that this request for help is very difficult for him. We just really want him to stay comfortable in his apartment as he continues to get treatments.

 When I asked him about doing a Go-Fund Me, he said “This is hard for me to say Susie, but I need help, I have no other options.”

 

Please, if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
