KCKFD FireFighter Daniel Hashman Medical Bills

On July 7th on his way to church with my family, Daniel started having Health issues in his legs with blood flow. They pulled over and called 911 and was life flighted to Springfield, Missouri. They then were going to life flight him to KU Med for better care, but weather got in the way, so they had drive him in an ambulance all the way 5 1/2 hours.

7/7 The cardiac  doctor ended up putting two stents in his aorta.  So now basically his whole aorta is Stented from the graft which they put in 4 years ago down to the iliac arteries.  The vascular surgeon stented on down into his left leg to get blood flow reestablished there.  He is in ICU.  They need to watch him closely over the next few days.  


7/8 They are going to take him back and do a fasciotomy (make a few cuts into the muscle) on his left leg sometime this morning, no time for sure yet. They are concerned about compartment syndrome (when the muscle swells more than it has room to stretch it can stop blood flow and start dying). He is stable, still on two medications to keep his BP up.

This man is the one of the kindest men I know. He'd do anything for you. He is a KCK Fire Fighter who puts his life on the line to help anyone in need.

In the end he was rushed/ flown to 3 different hospitals.

Now he needs our prayers and help with medical bills, but even beyond that! Food, friends and more!

Her and Tanner pretty much followed Daniel to each hospital, great friend and girlfriend
