OUR STORY:
Kingston Colts FC is a grassroots football club based in Kingston Bagpuize (near Oxford). During these difficult COVID-19 times, our U10 boys team has looked for ways to keep positive, stay fit, and contribute to the community.
In this spirit, the Under 10s Boy's team is challenging themselves to raise funds for charity. In the next 25 days, they have pledged to run 500 miles together, which will be around 25-30 miles per player. That's like a marathon each! In addition, the parents have pledged to run 500 miles as well, bringing the total to 1,000 miles!! Running will start on 06-May, and finish on 31-May.
All funds raised will support:
50% to NHS. The NHS has been our frontline carers, battling COVID-19 every day with high risk. They are true heroes who have worked so hard to protect us all and keep us safe.

25% to DKMS UK. Every 20mins someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer such as leukaemia. This does not stop just because COVID-19 has arrived. And DKMS has not stopped either. This charity recruits for and helps maintains the bone marrow donor registry. They provide support to patients and help match them to their lifesaving bone marrow match.

25% to Kingston Colts FC. Our grassroots football club is run purely by volunteers and supports 15 teams for boys and girls age 6 to 16! We are raising money for new equipment, to repair our football pitches, and to construct a clubhouse with facilities such as toilets and a kitchenette.
