Celebration of Life for Dick Galvin

Let's show Chris Galvin and his Mom, Hildee, how much their Sierra View Family cares. The Galvin Family has planned a Celebration of Life for their father and husband, Dick Galvin, who passed away peacefully in February.

Dick joined Sierra View Country Club in 1958. After a distinguished career in the Air Force, the Sacramento School System, and later with New York Life, he retired in 1995.

During those years, Dick coached basketball, then later officiated high school baseball and basketball as a member of the Northern California Officials Association.

Dicks was a golfer, Sierra View's Club Champion in 1968. And, of course, he taught Chris how to love the game. Indeed, a lesson many of us would love to learn.

A Celebration of Life is an event most of us enjoy; it gives us a chance to show our respect to Chris and HIldee with a smile and a hug without too many tears.

But, a Celebration of Life can be costly. So, let's all join in and help celebrate Dick's life by sharing the expense of the occasion.
