Please Help Us get back on our feet

On March 2023, my contract was terminated at my previous employer due to having tendinitis in my Achilles as there was no confirmed date of my return to work.

I applied for unemployment and was also seeking employment anywhere. Thankfully, I was due to start this past June, unfortunately, since they were unexpectedly slow this year, the start date kept getting pushed back. At the same time over July, I started experiencing angina (I've suffered from 2 heart attacks - 2015 and 2020) which turned to unstable angina and ended up in the ER on August 11, 2023 where the cardiologist put an additional 2 stents, to the 5 stents I have currently and existing 2 balloons.

The placement agency is kind enough to hold my position, but my unemployment has run out and I am not cleared to go back to work yet. My wife is currently suffering from a brain injury due an auto accident and is currently not working.

This fundraiser will help my family get back on our feet in the mean time, until I am medically cleared to go back to work. We would appreciate any help you are able to donate.

Update March 2024: my sickness benefits has ended and I haven't been able to get back to work yet as they are unusually slow. I have applied to other places as I have been before, but there hasn't been a call back to date either. My wife is still in the same situation as before and is still unemployed, recovering from the accident - we are getting help from family but unfortunately, they can only assist with limited funds.
