Little Sisters of The Poor
Donation protected
The Little Sisters of the Poor is a Catholic institute for women who dedicate their lives to the service of the elderly poor. Their mission is to welcome the elderly needy as if they are Jesus and serve them with love, compassion and respect until death. Their nursing home in Catonsville, the St. Martin's Home, offers a warm and welcoming home to their elderly residents and provides them with exceptional care and love. The Little Sisters receive limited funding from Medicare and Medicaid, so they rely on donations to help maintain their quality care. Both of my grandparents volunteer there and I have a great aunt that lives at St. Martins, both of which have given me opportunities to be there and see first hand how great this place is. All of the Little Sisters are so caring and they work so hard to make the final stage of their residents lives, a happy one. It costs so much to run the nursing home. Do you know that is costs $30,000 a month just to heat the building? That is a lot of begging they must do. Will you please help me raise money for them? Thank you in advance for helping to make a difference!
