Rachelle's Mommie Fund
In January of 2014, Rachelle experienced the worst day of her life. Her 15 week pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. As she handed the tiny body to the mortician, she wasn't sure she could ever feel happiness again.
However, in January of 2015, Rachelle gave birth to a sweet, healthy, week-early little boy. Happiness flooded over her! Sadly, her happiness in being a mommie was short lived as complications with her kidneys mounted. Two weeks before the birth of her greatest joy, Rachelle's right kidney began trying to pass stones. Because of the large uterus, the stones weren't able to pass through the ureter. Doctors tried several procedures to ease her pain and help the stones pass. She suffered greatly until doctors decided to induce labor a week early.
With the birth of her son, her right kidney finished passing stones and Rachelle was able to go home, but not before more crushing news. Her left kidney was also full of stones. Doctors decided to wait 2 weeks before doing any procedures, in the hopes that her tired body could heal. However, the stones began trying to pass on their own. Because they were so big, they blocked the ureter, causing a blood sepsis.
Now, Rachelle is in the ICU fighting for her life. Her tired body is not healing as quickly as her age should allow. She is unable to even hold her new son, and the stones continue to cause problems. Doctors don't want to do any procedures, since they fear the sepsis will take her life.
The last thing Rachelle needs to worry about is medical bills. However, with all the tries and fails at helping her, the bills are piling up. Staying in the ICU is the final financial straw.
Please help Rachelle pay her medical bills so she can focus on her dream of being a mommie!
