If you'e looking at this right now, it's because you know the name....Jodi Galaszewski....now, you're trying to sound her name out, and yes she would tell you it's polish.

What to say about Jodi? She is one of the kindest, sweetest and most caring individuals placed on this earth. If you know her, you have been blessed. From the tremendous amout of charity work she does with animal shelters to opening her own home up to animals and people alike. I could write a book describing how amazing she is, but chances are you already know that.

The reason for this is simply that we are coming to you asking for your support. Please help with your thoughts, prayers, kind words and if you're able with your donation through this site.

On January 16, 2015, after many days of agonizing pain and confusion as to what is wrong with her, she has been diagnosed with Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS). Guillian-Barre is a very rare medical condition in which there is a rapid-onset weakness of the limbs as a result of an acute polyneuropathy, a disorder affecting the peripheral nervous system. The disease is usually triggered by an infection, which provokes immune-mediated nerve dysfunction. Many experience changes in sensation or develop pain, followed by muscle weakness beginning in the feet and hands that develops rapidly (between half a day and two weeks). During the acute phase, the disorder can be life-threatening with about a quarter requiring admission to intensive care unit for mechanical ventilation. Some are affected by fluctuations in the function of the autonomic nervous system, which can lead to dangerous abnormalities in heart rate and blood pressure.

Jodi is currently in the hospital being closely monitored and will remain in the hospital until it has been determined that she will not lose the ability to breath on her own due to the illness.

There will be a lot of medical bills coming in and she has limited PTO thru work. Let's help her the only way she knows how to help....Give and Share!
