As most of you know my cousin Betty’s husband Alberto Jorge Velasco has been in critical condition since December 24. He contracted COVID-19 on December 14th while doing what he loved; be a doctor. He and my cousin Betty are both doctors and they had the option to not treat Covid patients but they didn’t think twice. The love and passion of caring for others so selflessly was too strong. They immediately entered into a rotation of caring for critically ill Covid patients. Unfortunately he himself is now a patient. He is only 36 years old and has 3 young children all under the age of 9. They continue to pray and ask God for their dad to get well and bring him back to them. As of right now he has been transferred to a private hospital for better care. The hospital requires payment for all his medical care to be paid daily. We have no idea how long his stay will be. The costs are mounting. If you can find it in your heart to help we would be ever so grateful. If you are unable we welcome your prays and we thank you for your continued support.

Como muchos de ustedes saben el esposo de mi prima Betty, Alberto Jorge Velasco a estado en condiciones criticas desde el 24 de Deciembre. El contrajo el Covid-19 virus el 14 de Deciembre mientras el hacia lo que el amaba ser un doctor una profesion que el y mi prima eligieron por su amor a ayudar. Ellos tuvieron la opcion de no cuidar a pacientes contagiados con el virus pero no lo pensaron dos veces. Eligieron por su passion y el amor de su profesion. Ayudar a la gente no fue ninguna cuestion . Ellos imediatamente entraron a una rotacion de cuidar a pacientes que estaban muy criticos con el virus. Desafortunadamente ahora el es el patiente algo que nunca pensariamos no tenia ninguna enfermedad previa. El solo tiene 36 anos y tiene 3 ninos chiquitos todos menor de 9 anos. Los ninos continuan orando y pidiendole a dios que su papa regrese a casa. Ahorita Beto a sido transferido a una hospital privada para que tenga un cuidado mejor. La hospital reqiere todas sus attenciones medicas que sean pagadas cada dia. No tenemos idea cuanto tiempo estara alli y el costo sigue suviendo. Si lo encuentras en tu corazon para ayudar con gastos monitarios seriamos para siempre agradecidos. Si por ahora no puedes ayudar si te unieras a nuestras oraciones les agradezemos a todos por todo su apoyo.
