Dear Family and Friends,
I am in debt of gratitude to all of you for all the prayers, love and support you are already giving us, now I humbly come to you asking for help.
What started for my parents as a happy trip back to their hometown in Mexico has ended up with my dad hospitalized in the ICU in serious and unstable condition. My siblings and I flew out emergently to be by his side, not knowing what the outcome of all this will be. It feels like each hour that passes is time being wasted. Although appreciative of the care he has received here in Mexico, he has made no significant improvements and decline is fast on the horizon. The cost of his hospitalization is amounting to over $3,000 (US dollars) per day. The care and treatment he needs is at the hospital back home in the States, but we cannot get him there without a special medical transport. Between the hospitalization and the transport we are faced with a debt of about $30,000.00. We feel impotent and are running out of options. He is our rock and to see him this way is unbearable. If there is anything you can help with, we would be immensely grateful.
