We Love Wendy

As many of you know, our one and only Wendy has been diagnosed with ALS. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, causing loss of muscle control.
Wendy has touched all of our lives in some way and has definitely improved our time on this planet. She has helped countless others in her career as a healthcare provider, participating in volunteer organizations such as Nine Miles of Smiles and West End Oral Health Clinic, and working towards a bachelors degree in Allied Health Sciences to help even more people - but she had to stop due to her condition. She is a creative genius, a talented crafts-woman that puts other crafts-people to shame, a super smart wizard (nicknamed Woogle as she probably actually knows more than Google), calls people out on their uncool bullshit, and is a super badass heavy metal chick we can all learn from.
We want to raise money for her to do whatever she wants with it to give her ease, comfort and joy. Wendy and her husband Erik had big plans this year to travel, see metal shows and basically do anything she could ever want - but all had to be cancelled due to COVID-19.
Please show her your love and support for Wendy to use this fundraiser as she pleases - let it be enjoying things that she wants to do, or donate to charities of her choice. These donations will undoubtedly go to something that makes Wendy happy.
