This is Aileen, 21 years old; on April 02, 2022, she was driving with her boyfriend on Airport Street in Stockton. A car coming from the opposite lane collided with them when it passed the median, hitting them head-on; it is worth mentioning that the driver was drunk, causing severe injuries that forced her to stay in the hospital for one month, struggling between life and death. She was in intensive care, in a coma due to brain damage, and on a ventilator for three weeks. Fortunately, she has survived her injuries, but now she needs care to recover, which causes many expenses that they cannot cover. Her mother, who is the one who cares for her, also had to leave her job to dedicate herself to her daughter since she has to take Aillen to therapies so that she can walk again. And also to appointments with the neurologist who treats her for the consequences of the accident.

Ella es Aileen de 21 años, en Abril 02 2022, estaba manejando con su novio en la calle Airport en Stockton, un carro que venía por el carril de sentido contrario, se impactó con ellos al pasarse el camellón golpeándolos de frente, cabe mencionar que el conductor venia en estado de ebriedad causando graves lesiones que la obligaron a permanecer 1 mes en el hospital, debatiéndose entre la vida y la muerte. Estuvo en cuidados intensivos, en coma debido al daño cerebral y con un respirador por 3 semanas. Afortunadamente ha sobresalido a sus lesiones, pero ahora necesita cuidados para poder recuperarse y eso ocasiona muchos gastos que lamentablemente no están en condiciones de cubrir. Su mama que es quien la cuida y atiende también tuvo que dejar su trabajo para dedicarse a su hija. Ya que la tiene que llevar a sus terapias para que vuelva a caminar y tambien a citas con el neurólogo quien la atiende por las secuelas del accidente.
