Kristen and Lyndal have owned the Stables for 18 years, and never have we experienced flooding or damage to this extent due to this unprecedented flood of March 2022. While we are fortunate to have high grass grounds for the horses to be safe, the loss of feed, loss of our stable area and loss of income because of the rain and water levels is crippling. Our staff have been fantastic working through these testing times to ensure the welfare of our horses. Now the cleanup and effort to return the property to a useable condition will only be known once the water starts to subside. There is only so much we can do alone. The storm will pass, the sun will shine again and we will keep going.
