Urgent help to avoid homelessness
Donation protected
Hello, I’m Brit.
I never thought I’d be in a situation like this, but I’m desperately reaching out for help. I recently experienced a traumatic event — I was sexually assaulted, and as a result, I am now caring for a newborn who was conceived through that assault. To make things even harder, I was evicted from my home in a situation that feels unfair and illegal, leaving me and my baby homeless.
Right now, I’m doing everything I can to stay strong and keep going, but I’m also battling postpartum depression and PTSD, which makes everything even more overwhelming. My phone has been shut off because I can’t afford to pay the bill, and my car insurance was canceled for the same reason. I’ve reached out to shelters and organizations for help, but many are full or only serve specific age groups.
I love my baby more than anything, and I want to give her a safe, stable place to grow up — not in a shelter or on the streets. Your kindness and support can help us find a safe place to stay and begin to rebuild our lives. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and help during this difficult time.
