Brian Doyle - Bills
Donation protected
In late 2012 at the age of 37 Brian Doyle was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. He kept his spirits up and continued to work as much as possible. He was finally able to buy a house and everything looked like it was going great.
Since then he has been battling nagging ankle injuries and infections. 2 years ago the doctors told him he had crumbling bones in his feet, and diagnosed him with Charcot's foot, a symptom of advanced diabetes generally seen in patients much older, yet he still pushed thru and kept working. On January 2, 2015, just 8 days before his 40th birthday, Brian had his left leg amputated below his knee. His spirits are high, and his outlook is good. He is hoping to be back to work by late spring/early summer 2015.
This is where you all come in.
Brian is not able to collect unemployment, and the process for a disability claim looks to be a long one. As we all know the bills don't stop coming. Brian has no income now, and needs to spend time focusing on recovery and rehabilitation.
The money that we donate to Brian will help pay the day to day bills, as well as any medical bills that insurance does not cover, including a prothetic leg. Any donation that you are able to make, large or small, will help. Please share this on Facebook or Twitter so that we can spread the word as much as possible and get him the help he needs. Brian has always been extremely generous with his time and money, and now is the time when we can all help him out.
