Hi my name is Laura-jane, I am fundraising in memory of my beautiful daughter Mia. We lost our beautiful baby girl in 2006 to this horrendous disease which ripped out my heart,i had never come across meningitis before and over the years I have done multiple events to help raise awareness of this cruel disease and to support families that are facing the unimaginable nightmare the disease can bring, Life has gotten in the way a little bit for a while but now its time to start my fundraising once more! I will be sharing the proceeds between meningitis research and meningitis now both charity's do amazing work both at helping to find immunisations and researching the science and at supporting those affected to move forward.
