Daniel McGillan(28) of sunny corner is a loving, caring and devoted father of 4 beautiful children, landen(8) Emmet(5) drake(5) and jorilynne(2 months). He is also a supporting and loving fiancé of vennessa Ferron(26) who he's shared his love and devotion with her for 10 years! Daniel is a hard working man, anyone who knows Daniel knows he's always working, whether it be doing odd jobs like cutting wood, mowing lawns, or shovelling snow or at his means of employment which I'd fishing lobster or security and as of recently he was starting to do roofing, Daniel is always hard at work trying to keep his family afloat and to make sure his kids had everything they ever needed.
Daniel has just been diagnosed with a very progressed bowl cancer. We are still learning about how far it has spread and what the course of action will be. What we do know is he will be starting chemotherapy in moncton (approx 145 km away) as soon as this coming week. We also know that the cancer is spread to his liver but we aren't aware yet of the severity of the cancer in his liver.
Daniel and Vennessa need our help! They will need help with transportation cost to go to and from moncton for Daniels treatments. They will also need help with living expenses as Daniel is no longer able to work, they will need help with child care for the children. They also need a more reliable vehicle to make these regular trips to Moncton. Winter is coming and they also still need between 4 and 6 cord of wood to heat their home for the winter and have not had the means to get any yet, and now with the travel expenses needed for Daniels treatment there is no way the can afford the wood.
Please help us in raising money for this amazing family! There will be a benefit event in miramichi in the future as well as donation jars placed in miramichi and surrounding areas. Once the date and information is known for the benefit it will be posted as well as the locations of the donation jars!
