More information about the the KB POWER Mentoring Camp : The the camp focuses on FUN by offering educational and physical programming to youth, through experiences such as fishing, swimming, sports, CPR and first aid training, professional dress & tying a neck tie, car maintenance, kitchen safety, food preparation and healthy eating.
The KB POWER Mentoring Camp takes the campers away from the boredom and misadventures commonly encountered by young adults during the summer months without structured activity.
Since the start of the KB P.O.W.E.R. Life Skills mentoring camp in 2016 we have helped to empower young men between the ages of 11 -14 years old. In 2016 nine young men attended the mentoring camp. By 2019 the mentoring camp grew in size, with 40 campers attending. This mentoring experience is needed in the Greater Philadelphia community and is having a major impact on these young scholars throughout the school year. The camp experience is increasing their self-confidence level, social emotional skills, team building and their openness to learn new things.
Remember, money raised will go directly to the KB Foundation a 501c3 non-profit organization.
