Kaz Kikunaga Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Kaz Kikunaga, known as Mr. K, was a beloved tennis coach and math teacher at Covina High School. But he was also a great mentor, husband, father, friend, and role model. Mr. K spent his days helping his students excel in math, tennis, and life. He would stay extra hours during the weekdays, and even on the weekends, to help his students. Mr. K has touched the hearts of many students and ultimately made everyone who met him, a better person. He epitomized patience, hard work, empathy, compassion, and living in the moment.
It is heartbreaking that Mr. K, a person bigger than life, has passed away. We have contacted his wife, and are raising money for his funeral. If you could donate any amount of money, it would be greatly appreciated.
Additionally, there is a candlelight vigil at the Covina High School tennis courts, this Friday (7/24/2020) to pay respect to Mr. K. Please wear a mask and continue to conduct social distancing. Thank you.
I was one of Mr. K's tennis students, and I am raising this money on behalf of his wife, Cora, to fund a traditional Japanese funeral ceremony. I have set his wife as the beneficiary of this campaign.
