Friends and Family of Kaytea - 

Today Kaytea made one of the bravest and best choices possible in deciding to admit herself into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. 

As Kaytea has recently shared with many of you, she has struggled with depression and addiction for many years. For those of us who care about her most, it has been a struggle to watch this and feel helpless to act. Well - the time has come! It's time to act! She's ready to make a change and we, her family, could not be happier to support her in this decision. We have spent the past few days researching and we have identified a promising, multi-step treatment option. She flew from Boise to Seattle this morning where her mom picked her up and took her to the detox center in Seattle where her journey begins. 
  
Kaytea has been unemployed and uninsured for the past 6 months. This means we will be paying for her treatment out of pocket. If you are able to give in any amount, please know that every dollar is appreciated. And if you can't give, thoughts/prayers/words of support are gladly accepted! 

We estimate the costs as follows:
5 Day Medical Detox - $3,000
30 Day Inpatient Rehab Program - $15,000
Associated Expenses (flights, moving her things out of her apt, paying delinquient bills, etc.) - $1,000

Kaytea's mom has paid for the detox program upfront and we will need to make a 50% deposit on the rehab program this Friday.
