Kaysie Rae’s Journey

Kaysie was born at 26 weeks and 4 days. Due to her coming so fast she wasn’t able to get the steroids needed to help her lungs to mature more to help her breathe on her own. She has a hole in her heart that is producing too much blood into her lungs causing other issues and so far the medicine she’s taken hasn’t helped to we’re trying steroids to possibly make progress. She’s having an issue regulating her vitals and blood pressure so she’s having to get blood transfusions. Her oxygen is still fairly high and she is going to be on a breathing tube for a bit longer but thankfully she is eating so that means she’s getting stronger each day.

The money raised will go to Kaysie and her family to cover medical bills, gas and food as she is in the NICU, and any other expenses that come up.
