We, the Padilla family, are striving to raise $1800 to help our daughter Kay perform with the middle school honor orchestra at Carnegie Hall in June. Kay Padilla is currently a junior finalist in the 2017 middle school Honors Performance Series Orchestra.

In order to take part in this opportunity, we need to raise an amount of $1800. She auditioned this fall forthe Honors Performance Series and was accepted after a review by the Honors Selection Board. Students from all over have auditioned for the program, and one of them just so happens to be her! Being that Kay has never had the opportunity to participate in an event as big as this, it's incredibly amazing. The funds will be going towards Kay's experience in New York, where she will be performing at Carnegie Hall with some of the world's most talented future musicians. Junior Finalists will come together for five days in June 2017 in New York City to have the opportunity to learn. The musicians with her at New York will get to cooperate, build their resume, and share great memories. They even get to roam Times Square when they aren't at rehearsals! The funds will let her experience New York; such as famous sites, tours, broadway shows, and much more. Portions of the funds go directly to the hotel fees, security, insurance, and the assurance that our musicians stay safe during the trip. Our first payment deadline at the very end of March. The support is much needed! An event as important as this one is costly, but the possibilities behind it are endless. It's a first for us, so just a small donation would mean the world to us!
If we reach our goal, Kay will be sure to enjoy her time in New York. She will even be eligible to get scholarship opportunities in the future as a result, and maybe even more. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I'm sure we'd be able to achieve our goal with helping hands. We cannot express enough gratitude to those who are willing to help. Sponsoring the event, telling your loved ones; every little action will contribute and bring me one step closer to success! Spread the word!
