Kaylin’s Fight Against Leukemia

On June 9, 2023 my friend Michele Renee’s 12 year-old daughter, Kaylin, was rushed from a doctors appointment straight to the hospital. By morning, doctors confirmed that Kaylin has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Type B. Within a couple of days, she has had multiple blood transfusions, a bone marrow biopsy, a spinal tap, and a port placed in her chest so she can begin chemo immediately.

Kaylin, or KK as she is known by loved ones, lives with her mom, Michele Renee, and her 15-year-old brother, Aiden. Kaylin loves dogs and singing and is a strong, resilient girl who has handled everything thus far with such bravery. She is in the fight of her life, but we know she can beat this!
