Kayley needs a shower
Donation protected
This beautiful girl needs a handicap accessible shower because she’s become a bit of a load to lift in and out of the tub. As most know, Kayley was shaken at 7 months old. This rendered her unable to walk, without most vision, and many other issues associated with traumatic brain injuries. I really don’t like to focus on her DISabilities, but be more grateful for her ABILITIES. In a nutshell, the bids to complete this job are averaging $10,500. I HAVE LIKELY SECURED funding for almost half of that through Children’s Miracle Network (it’s in progress—-keep your fingers crossed). Normally, there is some funding available for these types of endeavors, but with COVID, those resources are on hold, if they even renew at all. Kayley does not have a Medicaid waiver that covers these types of needs. It’s unfortunate.
So, I’m not very good at asking for help. I am committed to working extra hours and doing my best to secure all monies. Any help is appreciated. I am completely open to suggestions or recommendations as to funding sources. Any fundraising ideas are welcome.
Thank you so much. KAYLEY THANKS YOU! ❤️
