In Loving Memory of Kaylem Scopes

Following the heartbreaking loss of Kaylem Scopes after his brave battle with leukaemia, we would like to create something special in his memory — a lasting memorial where family, friends and everyone whose lives he touched can go to remember him.

Throughout Kaylem’s journey, family and friends have come together to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and EACH, supporting charities that mean so much to so many families. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported these fundraising efforts and shown such kindness and generosity.

Since losing Kaylem, the family have been overwhelmed by the love, kindness and support shown by so many people. The messages, thoughts and heartfelt gestures have meant more than words can express. So many people have reached out asking how they can help, what they can do, and how they can support the family during this incredibly difficult time. We hope that this fundraiser will offer a way for those who wish to help to come together and do something meaningful in Kaylem’s memory.

We would like to raise funds for a special, lasting memorial dedicated to Kaylem — a place where family, friends and everyone who misses him can visit, reflect, share memories and feel close to him.

At the moment, we are still exploring what this memorial might look like and where it might be. We want to take the time to find something truly meaningful that honours Kaylem and gives the people who love him somewhere special to go and remember him.

We would like to make it clear that all money raised through this GoFundMe will go towards Kaylem’s memorial only. This fundraiser is solely dedicated to creating something in his memory and will not be used for any other charity or cause. Once we have a clearer idea of what the memorial will look like, we will share further details with everyone who has supported us.
