Hello! My name's Kaylee! Some people may know me online as Utsu! I'm a 24 year old trans woman, and I'm lucky enough to be getting bottom surgery (vaginoplasty) on February 16th, 2023!
I didn't in all of my dreams expect to have gotten a date so soon after having my consult only a couple of months ago, but here we are! It goes without saying that this operation is intense, and recovery takes a long, long time! Due to this, I won't be able to work for a long time either. So to help me with this, I'm starting a GoFundMe to help support me in the several months I'll be recovering!
For total transparency, this fund will go towards:
- An Airbnb to stay in for the first month of recovery so I can live close to the hospital.
- Travel and food costs for my kind and generous friend who will be taking care of me for the first month of recovery in the Airbnb.
- Food costs for myself.
- Bills.
- Recovery supplies.
My insurance will cover the surgery costs, so this fund is solely for my recovery!
This surgery is going to change my life for the better. Period. I need it, and I'm willing to put my life on hold for it. Whatever you can spare is greatly appreciated!
