Kaylea Brooks / Odarczenko Family Memorial

We are profoundly sad at the sudden and unexpected death of Kaylea Brooks, mother of Sarah (12), Nolan (11), and Hannah (8) Odarczenko.

Nothing can replace the loss of a beloved mother, and it's particularly devastating for children so young to cope with this loss. In addition to the heartbreak, there is a very real financial burden the family will experience in the wake of this loss.

We are friends of the Odarczenko family who are pulling together to minimize the financial impact on the family. Right now, the family is gathering and grieving and preparing to say goodbye.

As that happens, we are hoping that the East Grand Rapids community, the families at EGR Middle School and Wealthy Elementary School, and all friends and neighbors of Kaylea, Sarah, Nolan, Hannah, and Anthony can pull together. Our goal is to help offset the immediate financial burden on the children caused by this unexpected loss.

The organizer of this campaign is Charlie White, friend of Anthony, EGR community parent, and father of a friend of Nolan's. All funds raised through this campaign will be used for Sarah, Nolan, and Hannah, administered through their father Anthony Odarczenko.
