Kayla's Lyme Disease Treatment

Dear Friends and Family, 

I am reaching out because I need your support!

I need your help so I can heal my body from the effects of Lyme disease.

I have had to stop my treatments due to financial difficulties and am currently in debt for these treatments. Since stopping my treatments I have been sick for over a month. 

I have been suffering for many years with worsening conditions due to Lyme Disease.

Lyme has many symptoms and is a challenge to cure. These symptoms include: constantly achy joints, an inability to exercise without injury, and scary cognitive conditions like inability to concentrate, inability to remember basic words or vocabulary, hazy thinking and short-term memory loss. Lyme can also affect mood, creating loss of motivation, depression and extreme fatigue. 

I've increasingly experienced most of the above conditions over the last five years.

I realize now that my dreams of shifting consciousness, and helping to save our planet, through documentaries, filmmaking, music and activism, is greatly affected by my health. If I am unable to be healthy physically and cognitively, I cannot live life fully. So after many attempts to just gut it out or use standard treatments which, you may know, rarely work, I decided to make an extraordinary commitment to my recovery.

I found a health practitioner, with a track record of helping people like me, who has begun treating me. But it's not cheap and I am unable to afford it, even with the support of my family. 

To continue with her I started working for her to gain a discount, but it was not enough. 

In order to continue treatment with her I left my job, my apartment and moved myself and my cats out to Long Island.

I am in a difficult position. It is hard to ask for help, but I realize that if I want to achieve my dreams, I do really need help right now! I've tried to do this on my own and I have had to stop my treatment. I need support. 

So I'm looking to raise enough to cover my intensive whole-health, treatment. 

I am counting on the generosity of my friends and family to help me through this journey to healing, so I can live my best life free from illness! I want to get back to the work I love and make a difference in the world.

I have already experienced huge shifts in my mood and long-term memory due to these treatments. I need your support to continue my healing.
