Hello family & friends, My name is Althea Binns and this is my five year old daughter Kayla! Better known as Kayla B by all her friends at school. Born on October, 27th. My princess was diagnosed with Leukemia on Dec, 11th of 2023. Leukemia is a type of cancer which affects the bodies blood-forming tissues including bone marrow and lymphatic system, which overall hinders the body's ability to fight off infection. However, despite her diagnosis Kayla has continued to not only be super resilient, extremely positive, vibrant and overall very mature about her situation. Kayla continues to encourage others to be happy when around her despite the hardships she’s facing at the moment but most importantly she is a god fearing young lady. She loves to eat, pretend cooking and playing with her siblings and her dog Saige. “When I feel better and I can go home I can’t wait to eat crabs and play with my pooch Saigey”-Kayla. I ask in this delicate time of urgency to not only to pray hard and consistently for our Kayla’s full recovery but also for the strength that she and I will both need to help aid her in this fight. If you know Kayla personally you know that she is a star in every room she walks in. I’m writing to ask you to support me and my daughter so that she can continue shining brighter than ever. All funds will be used for Kayla’s well being, whether that pertains to medical bills while she goes through chemotherapy and/or even ensuring she remains her happy self through her journey.
