Kaylah‘s Medical treatments

Hello family and friends Kaylah. As some of you may know in September 2020, Kaylah was diagnosed with stage 1 non hodgkins Lymphoma. In addition to this disheartening news,  in 2011 Kaylah was diagnosed with PCOS, making conceiving a child difficult. Kaylah has taken on the role of a bonus mom to her husbands kids and has accepted it may take some time to conceive. However,  Kaylah was told if she chose to freeze her eggs before beginning chemo it would push out her chemo date and given how aggressive her cancer was it would spread quickly. Kaylah chose not to freeze her eggs and now her insurance will not cover the costs of a fertility specialist after her treatment is over. Kaylah will undergo Chemo every 3 weeks 8 hours a day for 6 cycles. With that being said she will be unable to work and disability is limited. Kaylah does not have the greatest insurance and has very high copayments. For example, her pet scan alone cost over $1300. Anything we can do to help her family out in this tough (but optimistic time) is appreciated. Kaylah will be home focusing on her health and wellness for awhile. We will do our best to make sure everyone has the most current updates.  Please keep her family and her in your thoughts and prayers. The outpouring of love and support that she has already received has been amazingly uplifting since the initial diagnosis a few weeks ago.
