Kayla Underwood

I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my niece, Kayla Underwood. She and her sister, Rachel are like the children I never had and are very dear to me. On 12-8-2022, Kayla was on her way to work when she was involved in a horrific car accident. This accident resulted in her being taken by Life Flight to Vanderbilt Hospital where she is currently being cared for in the trauma intensive care unit. We are so fortunate that Kayla is alive and still with us. She has suffered multiple injuries that will result in a long road of healing and rehabilitation. Kayla is a fighter and will get through all these hurdles to get back to her family, but right now she, her husband Cassidy, and son, Cameron need our help to see them through this tough time. They need help with medical expenses. Kayla and Cassidy just lost a baby in July and now this very unexpected not at fault car accident. They will need help with household expenses, traveling and lodging expenses while Kayla is in the hospital and caring for their son, Cameron, who has special needs, until they can return to work.
