Kayla Sorensen Breast Cancer fund
Donation protected
As some of you may know, my sister Kayla was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She is a 38-year-old hardworking and devoted mother of two and, as you can imagine, this news has been devastating for her family.
The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of tests, doctor’s appointments, and less-than-favorable results. Kayla has an aggressive form of Stage 2 Ductal Breast Cancer, which will require several rounds of chemotherapy and possible radiation, IV therapy, and a double mastectomy in the coming months. Scans revealed a total of four tumors- three in one breast and one in the other.
Kayla plans to continue to work for as long as possible, but likely will not be able to as her treatment progresses. The medical costs have already begun to add up. Childcare, food, housing costs, and other expenses are a burden that we don’t wish for Kayla’s family to have to carry during this time of healing.
Please consider donating what you can so that they are able to breathe a little easier and focus on fighting this cancer. Kayla would never ask for help on her own, because she is strong, independent, and hardworking- and those qualities are why she will beat this. But we will ask for her.
All donations will go toward medical bills and various household expenses as Kayla undergoes treatment.
Thank you for lifting this family up in their time of need. We are truly grateful for your thoughts, prayers, and donations during this time.
