Hello sweet friends!!

I have some super exciting news!

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Kayla and I LOVE Jesus and I LOVE people.

My whole life, I knew I was a missionary; everyday I’ve been waiting on Jesus for the right time to go and do what my heart loves across the world.

In 2023, I went and served in Lesvos, Greece, for three months, teaching English and spreading the love of Jesus within the Maravouni refugee camp. And I fell in love it. The people, the work, the place.

Since then, I’ve been on a couple of short-term mission trips, but with a full heart, I am excited to say I am going back to Lesvos in September 2025! My hope is to be away serving Jesus here for 1 year. I will be part of the social care team of the organization EuroRelief, working with vulnerable refugee families and individuals, helping connect them with the support they need and showing them the love of Jesus.

“But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard of him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I will go, and I will tell and show people all over the world what Jesus has done for me and how He has saved me over and over again and how He loves them just the same. This will be my longest trip yet. The calling and peace of God I feel over this has been immeasurable, and my heart has been overflowing with the goodness and direction of God ever since I started this journey.

Prayer for strength for me while I prepare and finish my season here well.

Prayer for the continued opening of the right doors in all the little but countless undertakings and details ahead of me.

Prayer for the last part of my visa process to go smoothly and without delay.

Prayer of protection for me to stay focused on the cross and joy set before me in all I do as I set out.
